Primitive Legacy Continues in 21st Century

Over the time, we have changed our life style by changing physical world around us. We developed new tools. Made beautiful and strong buildings to live and do businesses. Developed fastest ways of commuting. Created devices for better communication. Discovered depths of universe on the macro level on the otherside at micro level we visited and learned about invisible world Atomic particles. After visiting moon, we are aiming at other heavenly objects. We are learning about laws of nature and using these understandings to benefit human race.

We achieved all this because we used combination of our imagination and reason. We used our congnitive thinking facilities and managed to transfer our experiences and knowledge to our next generations and here we are as Rulers of the Earth.

But on the otherside, we are still deeply superstitious. When we see some phenomenos which we can not interpret, we tend to believe it as supernatural. Usually we learn to believe on superstitions in the days of our early life. Belief fed in early childhood have permanent marks on our thinking. When we talk about superstitions we tend to ignore knowledge of natural laws which are governing this universe and our lives. All our knowledge seem to surrender in front of primitive legacies. We suspend our congnitive thinking and activate our belief system to respond to it.

Bad luck is one of many superstitions which are still governing our lives. Many people still worry when black cat crosses their way. Following are some of superstitions which are still hounting our lives.

Our superstitions are closely related to our beliefs systems. Religion being a supernatural belief system make it possible to give space to superstitious things and events in our life. We need to revisit our thoughts and beliefs. We need to repair and align them according to 21st century.

We human beings, holding powers to rule on universe have higher level of responsibility. If you have power of science and technology then you should also learn how to benefit from these powers safely. If we look around deeply, we will find out that divide on superstitious thoughts is main cause of world wide unrest and terror. 

It is very unfortunate that we human beings are fighting for and against the superstitious believes. Its time to step back and start thinking rationally. Western societies invested in education and now they have learned to live togather. Power of knowledge need to spread across the world evenly. Only rathional thinking can bring harmoney and peace in the world.
